Why Bali, why now

One island. Three completely different holidays.

Ubud is temples, rice terraces and jungle air. The south — Seminyak, Canggu, Uluwatu — is beach clubs, surf and cliff-top sunsets. An hour offshore, Nusa Penida is all cliffs and turquoise. Most people try to do all three from one hotel and spend the week in a car.

We split your stay by area instead, so each day starts where the day ends. That one decision is the difference between a Bali holiday and a Bali commute.

The Attithya difference

Atithi Devo Bhava — on the road, not just on a wall

Six things our travellers say they don't get from the big booking portals.

A named human, not a ticket number

One expert plans your trip and stays on WhatsApp through it. You never re-explain your trip to a stranger.

We plan around Bali traffic

The island's real enemy is the road. We cluster each day by area and split your stay between north and south, so you are never stuck in a two-hour crawl to dinner.

Indian & Jain food, sorted

Pure-veg, Jain and no-onion-garlic meals pre-arranged at your hotel, plus a shortlist of the Indian kitchens in Seminyak and Ubud that are actually good.

Everything in one price

Hotels, private AC car with driver, boat transfers, entry tickets and taxes quoted upfront. Your visa-on-arrival fee and Bali tourist levy are listed separately, in rupees, before you pay us anything.

24×7 on-ground support

A local coordinator in Bali plus our India desk. Ferry cancelled, flight delayed at 2am? Someone picks up.

Villas we have actually seen

Private pool villas are where Bali listings oversell hardest. Ours are inspected or booked repeatedly — never chosen off a wide-angle photo.

Beyond the checklist

The moments people actually talk about afterwards

Any of these can be added to any package. We'll tell you honestly which ones are worth the early alarm and which are not.

The Ubud jungle swing

Out over a gorge of palms, harnessed and safer than it looks. The photo everyone comes home with.

Mount Batur at sunrise

A 2am start and a 4am climb to watch the sun come up over a volcano. A jeep option exists for knees that object.

Kecak fire dance, Uluwatu

A hundred men chanting in a ring of fire on a clifftop, timed so the sun sets mid-performance.

Tegenungan waterfall

Go before nine and you get the pool almost to yourself. After eleven it is a queue for the same photo.

A surf lesson at Kuta

Bali is where half the world learns. Soft boards, patient instructors, waist-deep white water.

Bali's daily offerings

Canang sari on every doorstep and dashboard, replaced each morning. The thing you will still be thinking about at home.

Plan the dates right

Best time to visit Bali

Bali has one dry season and one wet one — but "wet" here usually means a heavy hour in the afternoon, not a washout. Here is how the year actually runs.

Month-by-month guide to the best time to visit Bali from India
MonthsSeasonWhere we'd send youVerdict
Apr – JunEarly dry season Everywhere. Dry, green from the rains, and noticeably quieter than July. Our pick if your dates are flexible. Ideal
Jul – AugPeak dry season Best weather of the year and the busiest. Book villas and Nusa Penida boats well ahead; rates are at their highest. Great weather
Sep – OctLate dry season Still dry, crowds thinning, prices easing. Excellent for honeymoons and for diving around Nusa Penida. Ideal
Nov – MarWet season Short heavy afternoon showers, brilliant green terraces, lowest rates of the year. Mornings are usually clear — we simply plan around them. Budget pick

Travelling in the wet season? It is genuinely fine — we front-load sightseeing into the mornings and keep afternoons for the pool and the spa. Send us your dates.

Traveller stories

What our Bali travellers said

"Splitting the trip between Ubud and Seminyak sounded like extra hassle. It was the opposite — we never spent more than twenty minutes in a car after breakfast. Every other Bali trip I have heard about was half spent commuting."
Rashmi & familyIsland Explorer · Gurugram
"The villa was exactly what the photos showed, which after three weeks of scrolling listings was the part I had stopped expecting. The floating breakfast on our anniversary morning was arranged without us asking twice."
Arjun K.Honeymoon Villa Escape · Mumbai
"Jain food in Bali, arranged at the hotel and at two restaurants they recommended in Ubud. My mother ate properly every single day. That is the whole review."

Bali travel FAQs for Indian travellers

Do Indians need a visa for Bali in 2026?
Yes, but it is issued on arrival. Indian passport holders get a Visa on Arrival for IDR 500,000 (roughly ₹2,700), valid 30 days and extendable once for another 30. You can also pre-pay it online as an e-VoA. Two other things are now compulsory: the Bali Tourist Levy of IDR 150,000 (about ₹810) per person, and the All Indonesia Arrival Card. Miss any one of the three and you will be held up at immigration — so we file all three for you before you fly. Carry a passport valid at least six months and a return ticket.
How much does a Bali trip cost from India?
Our current Bali packages start at ₹57,400 per person on twin sharing for six nights, and that figure already includes return flights from Delhi, private transfers, daily breakfast and all the sightseeing named in the itinerary. The honeymoon package, which adds two nights in a private pool villa in Ubud, is ₹69,999 per person. On top of that you should budget the Indonesian visa on arrival (IDR 500,000, about ₹2,700), the Bali tourist levy (IDR 150,000, about ₹810), and roughly ₹2,500–₹3,500 a day for meals and anything optional. These rates run until the end of November and do not apply on peak dates.
How many days are enough for Bali?
Both our packages run six nights, which is the length that works: you lose most of the first and last day to the flight, so anything shorter is spent in transit. Six leaves you four clear days, enough for the south coast, a full day in the highlands and time that is genuinely yours. If you want Nusa Penida or the Gili islands as well, ask us to stretch it to eight or nine.
Is Bali safe for Indian tourists and families?
Yes. Bali is one of the most visited destinations in Asia and is used to Indian families. The real risks are mundane ones — scooter accidents, strong rip currents at some beaches, and the occasional overcharging. We use vetted drivers rather than scooter rentals, brief you on which beaches are safe to swim at, and keep a local coordinator plus a 24×7 India desk on WhatsApp throughout.
Can we get Indian, Jain or pure-veg food in Bali?
Easily, and better than most people expect. Seminyak, Kuta and Ubud all have established Indian restaurants, and Balinese cooking itself is rice, vegetable and coconut based. We pre-arrange Indian, Jain and no-onion-no-garlic meals at your hotel and share a shortlist of the places we would actually send our own families to.
What is the best time to visit Bali?
April to October is the dry season. April to June and September to October are the sweet spots — dry weather without July and August's crowds and peak rates. November to March is the wet season, but that usually means one heavy afternoon shower rather than all-day rain, the terraces are at their greenest and rates are the lowest of the year. We simply plan sightseeing into the mornings.
Which currency should we carry to Bali, and do cards work?
The Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). Cards are accepted at hotels, malls and larger restaurants, but carry cash for warungs, temple entry, markets and drivers. Exchange at authorised money changers rather than street kiosks, and count your notes before leaving the counter. Indian Rupees are not accepted — carry USD to exchange, or withdraw IDR from an ATM on arrival.
Is Bali good for a honeymoon, and can you arrange a private pool villa?
It is one of the best honeymoon destinations in Asia, and private pool villas are its speciality. We book villas we have inspected or used repeatedly, rather than off a listing photo, and arrange honeymoon décor, a floating breakfast, a candlelight dinner and a couple's spa session. Tell us your budget and we will be honest about what it buys in Ubud versus Uluwatu versus Seminyak.
What is the booking and cancellation policy?
Typically a 25–30% advance confirms your booking with the balance due 15 days before departure. Villas and peak-season dates sometimes carry stricter terms from the property. Whatever applies to your dates is stated in writing on your quote before you pay anything. We never hold a deposit against an itinerary you have not approved.
